Metro Drive-In Cine

Located at the corner of via Pindaro and via Eschilo, the Metro Drive-In Cine was opened on 19th August 1957 with “Nonna Sabella”. It was closed in the 1980’s.

The huge CinemaScope widescreen was still standing in 2020, and the entrance with its ticket offices survive. The site in now in multi-purpose use.

As of April last year the huge screen was still standing, it can be seen on Google Street View. Looks like there was also a go-cart track as part of the facilities.
