Located in the up-market Jardim Paulista district. The Cine Gemini 1 & 2 was inside a small shopping centre, which has an entrance on the main Avenida Paulista and another entrance on Alameda Joaquim Eugenio de Lima, where the bulk of the building can be seen.
The Cine Gemini 1 & 2 was opened in July 1975 and was operated by Cinema International Corporation(CIC). Seating was provided for 379 in each auditorium.
The Cine Gemini 1 & 2 was closed on 26th September 2010, and when viewed in December 2011, was standing empty and unused.
