Cinemark opened the Movies 6 on December 18, 1987. The theatre features digital presentation, RealD 3D, self service box offices, online ticketing and second-run attractions. By summer of 2023 it was screening first run movies.

Grand opening ad in the photo section. This was the first multiplex to be built in the area. Cineplex Odeon (under the Plitt name) sold their theatres to Cinemark effective May 22nd, 1987 in the valley.
