I worked there as an Usher from 1998-2000 when it was still owed by the original owner. When Pleasantville came out in 1998 we had an employee contest to see who could dress just like the characters from the film. I won that contest thanks to my Grandfather Edmundo. Good memories from that old theater!
The last time i was there i seen Superman Returns.
“The Rocketeer” was presented at the Edwards Corona 11 in 35mm Dolby Stereo beginning on Friday June 21, 1991.
I worked there back in 1988-89 for a security company that had the contract. It was the biggest cinema in Riverside County at the time and attracted people from all over the place to enjoy the movie experience there. My partner Al (“Tito”) were the best and we kept the crime stats way down (nothing compared to what happened later). It was great while it lasted.
