Management at this theatre is under par. They really do not mind giving out passes at this theatre. Consistent presentation issues and cancelled shows. Also, while projection quality is generally fine, sound quality outside of the IMAX auditorium is poor and usually not loud enough. Acoustics are poor, which is interesting when you consider that some auditoriums were formerly THX certified. Seats are still the original ones and are not comfortable in the stadium sections because they do not rock. Highly recommend going to AMC Columbia or White Marsh instead.

GCC opened this theatre on November 6, 1998.

One of the former THX houses, auditorium 10, has been retrofitted with digital IMAX. Fandango indicates that the first IMAX film will be Journey 2 in IMAX 3D, which starts February 10.

This theatre opened with five THX certified auditoriums: 10, 11, Premium 1, Premium 2, Premium 3 (15-17). I believe the THX signs are still posted outside their respective auditoriums. General Cinema showed THX and Dolby trailers when they operated the theatre.

The Premium auditoriums were the former dine-in screens, which still have their cocktail tables and plush seating.
