Located diagonally opposite the mainline/international Gare du Nord Railway Station in the north of the centre of Paris. It has a second entrance located around the corner on 126 Boulevard Magenta. The Cine Nord was opened in the 1930’s. It was twinned in the early-1970’s. In recent years it screened pornographic films and catered for a mix of straight, bisexual and gay men. It was closed in 2013.
By March 2019 it had re-opened as a live theatre featuring comedy performances, known as Theatre La Boussole.
