The Center Theatre opened in 1948 with Esther Williams in “Fiesta”. It was closed on September 19, 1970 with Dean Jones in “The Love Bug” & the Walt Disney animated feature “The Jungle Book” with closed in 1970.

Opened on February 20th, 1948. Grand opening ad posted. Stewart & Everett operated it.
Opened on February 20, 1948 with Esther Williams in “Fiesta” (unknown if extras added). It was closed on September 19, 1970 with Walt Disney’s “The Love Bug” and “The Jungle Book” because of lack of patronage.
