Cinema des Varieties, Nice

A former cine-variety theatre dating from the early part of the 20th Century and formerly with one large balcony. The theatre is embedded within an enormous residential and retail block, and judging by a photo in the foyer was of considerable magnificence and size.

It has now been sub-divided into 7 screens, the largest in part of the original balcony, seating over 500 and with a large curved screen.

Impressive entrance.
