Jensen â€" Google Maps is sometimes a little inexact when it comes to addresses. Particularly when they have letters in them like that.
Was owned by the Thomas Theater Co. of Iron Mountain Mich., Martin D. Thomas, President, they had 7 theaters in Michigan and Wisconsin. My guess is that it is todays Thomas Theatre Group which I think is out of Quinnesec and has the Tri-City Cinema 8 right next to the site of the old Tri-City Drive-In and the Willow Creek Cinema 8 in Escanaba, Michigan.
PLEASE CHANGE ADDRESS TO:
US-2 & BALER ROAD
The address W7678 US-2 on the Map puts it on the East side of Quinnesec. The new address moves it about 2 miles and puts it at the West end of town and you can still see the Drive-In on the Map. Much more helpful.
Opened May 13, 1953.
Had a playground under the screen with swings and teeter totter.
