The Dixie Drive-In opened on May 4, 1949 with Mickey Rooney in “Love Laughs at Andy Hardy”. It had a 310-car capacity. The drive-in closed on September 30, 1984 with Clint Eastwood in “Sudden Impact” & Gene Hackman in “Uncommon Valor”.
Since demolished and the site is a self storage facility.

I have it parking 250 cars,but so often these numbers are almost always off, It was owned by E.G.Creasy,Jr. in 1956.
