The Village was opened in May, 1969. It was situated on Gay Street, a bit north of Magnolia, and was either converted into or replaced by a building for Auburn Bank. It ran its last movies on September 26, 1985.
REMEMBERING PLITT THEATRES is on Facebook for old employees to talk shop of the old days,or just moviegoers that like PLitt Theatres.
Now operations center for a bank, I understand.
Hoping it didn’t under go a named change,I seach on CT before submitting,but they change so often,I hate putting wrong theatres on.
