The Cameo Cinema opened on 16th January 1977. It is now the only operating cinema in town and has digital projection, and equipped for 3D presentations. It had been operated by the Kennett family who announced in July 2024 that they were stepping away from operating the cinema and is offered ‘For Sale’. They are hoping a buyer will take on the operation of the cinema.
