The Odeon Theatre was opened in 1939 with 830 seats. Seating was provided in orchestra and balcony levels. It was renovated in 1960 to the plans of architects Master, Sathe & Kothari. It closed as a single screen in 2006.
It was converted into a twin screen cinema, reopening as Odeon Big Cinemas in August 2009.
