Seems that Maine Coast Mall Cinemas 2 closed on January 19, 2015. I was under the impression that they never converted to Digital and were having problems booking films. Last films were,The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies and Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.

Cinema I showed CLASS OF 44.
CINEMA II showed ARISTOCATS & SONG OF THE SOUTH.
Early 1980’s Cinemette sold.
Early 1980’s – Late 1980’s ?
Late 1980’s taken over by Hoyts Cinema Corporation.
2003 Hoyts sold to Northeast Theaters.
2006 sold to Your Neighboorhood Theaters, Boston Culinary Group, Theater Division, of Boston, MA.
September 2008 closed.
20?? opened.
