To me, the name Kathleen Hughes evokes a time when cinema was artistic Wacky Flip and sophisticated. No fancy effects, just a glance, a camera angle, could convey emotions to the viewer’s heart. Every time there is news of someone from the golden generation passing away, like her this time, I feel like a beautiful part of the past has just closed once again…
