Architects: Shlomo Gepstein
Previous Names: Rimon Theatre
Opened in 1937 as the Rimon Theatre and designed by architect Shlomo Gepstein in the International style, this theatre and the building that houses it has been an Allenby Street landmark for decades.
Closed sometime in the 1980’s, the cinema became an internationally-known nightclub called Allenby 58, which lasted about a decade. The property is slated to become a residential building with few traces of its entertainment history preserved. It had been demolished by 2022.
