The property on the south side of the creek (or channel) is now LaFitte Drive-In Park. You can still see the outline and ramps.
The property on the north side has no traces of the drive-in remaining. Even the small bridges which connected the north and south sides are gone.
The LaFitte Drive-In Opened Its Gates On October 21st, 1952 After Being Constructed Since April Of That Year With A 500 Car Capacity. Originally The Theater Is Planned In April Of 1950. It Is Closed In 1982.
Front of the drive-in property is now occupied by LaFitte Cinema.
The “F” in LaFitte Drive-In should be capitalized.
