Located in the beautiful Bighorn Basin in Worland, Wyoming the Lloyd’s Drive-In was named after the owner, Lloyd Kerby. It was opened in 1949 and was still open in 1957. It was one of larger drive-ins in Wyoming.

I sure hope it didn’t change names like so many Drive-ins I have put on CT.

Open ~1955-~1985? Can anyone verify the exact dates?

I956 it was a large Drive-in,not the largest Chuck,But pretty good size in 1956.
I am just glad it didn’t have a name change.
Lloyd’s must have opened before this note in the Jan. 31, 1953 issue of Boxoffice: “Lloyd Kerby has plans ready for the new 800-seat theatre he will build at Worland, Wyo., where he already owns one indoor house and a drive-in.”
Boxoffice, May 28, 1949: “Lloyd Kerby, owner of the Kerby, Worland, Wyo., has bought ten acres near town and will build a $75,000, 350-seat (sic) drive-in, equipped with Simplex booth, sound and in-car speakers, all furnished by National Theatre Supply.”
A 1980 aerial shows the drive-in intact and looking operational. By 1994, it had been demolished.
