Cineplex Odeon opened the Clareview 10 on December 13, 1996. Seating was listed at 1,719. The smallest auditorium seat 126 and the larger auditoriums seats 219. By 2005 the theatre was under the Empire Banner. The Clareview 10 played first run attractions. It was taken over by Landmark Cinemas of Canada in 2013 and was closed in 2015.

According to the Empire Theatres website and other websites which show movie times for this theatre, the correct spelling should be “Clareview.”
Seating in all auditoriums is “sightline”, which is a compromise between stadium and standard seating. Sound is DTS (now Datasat), and I believe one or two screens were THX certified. All info predates acquisition by Empire.
Sold to Landmark Cinemas in 2013.

This cinema’s opening movies include Romeo & Juliet (Digital), The Mirror Has Two Faces, Jingle All the Way (Digital), Ransom, Space Jan, Star Trek: First Contact (Digital), Daylight (Digital), The Preacher’s Wife, and Jerry Maguire (Digital). This theatre also opened with two sneak previews: one for Scream and another for One Fine Day.
I saw Muppets Most Wanted here back in 2014. I barely remember the theatre’s interior though…
