The Paramount Theatre was opened in 1936. The Montpelier Theatre had one time been a classy theatre showing decent films to the town such as a Disney double feature,"Living Desert" and "Vanishing Prairie".
By the 1970’s the good films were gone from the Montpelier Theatre and ‘epics’ like "Teenage Fantasies" and "French Throat",both X-Rated were playing. After closing it became a church, which had moved out of the building by 2024.

In 1967 the theater was owned by General Theaters Co. of Cleveland, Ohio, Leonard L. Mishkind, President, in that year they owned 11 theaters, all in Ohio.
More info and photos are always welcome.
I went by yesterday and it looks like this theater still exists. I uploaded a photo of the building at this address and it definitely looks like a theater.
