Above the cinema on the roof was the open-air Dancing Club Casablanca. This was also used as an open-air cinema named Gran Terraza Barcelo which also opened on 29th June 1932 with 1,500 seats in orchestra and balcony levels. The opening film was the comedy “Vaya mujeres”.
From 1980 to 2013 the indoor auditorium was a popular nightclub named Pacha. Since 2016 the nightclub has operated as Teatro Barcelo which also presents live music performances. The open-air auditorium has been abandoned and now houses air conditioning ducts for the nightclub.
