The Royal Theatre was located in Hudson, Quebec and was operating from at least 1943. Typical small town theatre where PG pictures like "Pocket Money" and "Sleeper" two early-1970’s classics had beside the rating(no one under 14). Guess they made their own rules, like so many mom and pop theatres. Strangely, on "Klute" a pretty rough "R" rated film they had (no one under 14). For the G rated "Silent Running" everyone was admitted. I am sure Bruce Dern was happy they gave in on his flick. But you do see a lot of this with small towns. Of course, we all know the rating system is all voluntary anyways.
