Opened in 1906 as the Majestic Theatre. It was renamed Harris Theatre in September 1927. By 1941, the Harris Theatre was operated by Warner Bros. Circuit Management Corp. It was still open in 1950.

The Harris Theatre opened in the late 1920’s. It is listed in the Film Daily Yearbook 1941 with a seating capacity of 1,010 and the operator was Warner Bros. Circuit Management Corp. In the 1943 edition the listing shows 1,000 seats and by 1950 it has a seating capacity of 850 given, still under the Warner Bros. Theatre’s operation.
The Harris Theatre was demolished in the late 1970’s.
Probably part of the large chain of theaters owned by the Davis-Harris Theater Company of Pittsburg,Pa.
Historic Hancock County: An Illustrated History, by Paulette J. Weise, says that the Harris Theatre opened in 1906 as the Majestic Theatre.
This reopened as the Harris on September 3rd, 1927. It was the Majestic theatre. Listings stopped in 1974.
