A comparison of the 1951 and 1959 aerial photos show the drive-in expanded noticeably. The screen is considerably larger and the ramps were fanned outward to accommodate more vehicles.

It was still intact and seemingly operational in 1983, but by 1995 had been demolished.

Today, most of the property is overgrown and the projection booth/concession stand is engulfed by trees.

Found the other drive-in on US 98 south of Perry, have a 1951 aerial photo of it. I will make a listing and post.

Here is my January 2011 picture of the Graves Drive-in projection booth and snack bar.

I suspect that Perry’s other drive-in was located on the Old Dixie Highway just north of Florida 30, but I have no concrete proof.

Community outdoor Drive-in was listed in the 1956 Motion Picture Almanac,Chuck1231.

I couldn’t find either of those on old topographic maps. I’ll look again in case I missed them.

Perry, Fla,also had a Community Outdoor Drive-in and a another called Perry Drive-in Theatre.

Open ~1964-~1985? Care to verify the exact dates?

Open for sure in 1967.

Need more info and photos.
