Thanks for all the comments I am amased that some remembers . I worked at the College Cinema from 69-72 when Leo Yassenoff own the Academy group. It was a really fun timeand most of my fellow emplyees I am still in touch with.
Here is a 1940 photo of the Boulevard Theatre from the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Click on the “2” where it says “view other images” to see a night shot of the theater’s marquee.
The Boulevard closed on 4/11/1967 showing LET’S KILL UNCLE & INCIDENT AT PHANTOM HILL. The College Cinema opened on 9/27/1967 with DIRTY DOZEN.

This was part of the local ‘Academy Theatres’ chain, which also included the Clinton, Beechwold (later Camelot North), Esquire (later Carousel East), and other second-run neighborhood theatres.
In newspaper ads of the time, I recall the name being ‘College Cinema’ rather than ‘Theatre’.
It played at the Drexel (which actually is in Bexley, OH, an east side suburb).
Wonder what theatre in Columbus played “GOODBYE,COLUMBUS”?
Became known as the COLLEGE theatre in 1967. Closed in late 1977. Theatre was NOT owned by Loews.
