In July of 2002 this theater was closed and put up for sale. The flyer on the front said that it has a state-of-the-art platter system, 300 seats and 7,000 square feet of commercial space and the asking price is $125,000.
It appeared that one of the shops on each side of the main entrance had once been a video store as there was a poster for “Planet of the Apes” inside. The phone number on the marquee and hanging banner read: FOR SALE 865-1574. Beaver, a town with a population of 2,454, is located 200 miles south of Salt Lake City.

The Beaver Theatre may have been also known as the Firmage Theatre that seated 394 people.
Driving through Beaver just last week (Sept. 30), I noticed that the marquee now reads “new Firmage theater coming soon” and it looks like the building is being renovated.
It is back open now for almost a year. Info below…
