The Princess Theatre was opened in 1927. Seating was listed at 600. I was remodeled in 1938 reopening on November 16, 1938. It operated into at least the mid-1950’s. The building is now occupied by the WDXE Radio Station.

The PRINCESS Theatre was built by Henry L. Rhulander in 1927 and was converted to sound films by 1931.

The Princess was remodeled in 1938, according to this item from the November 19 issue of Boxoffice:

“Lawrenceburg, Tenn. — The remodeled Princess Theatre reopened the night of November 16. The building has been completely modernized and redecorated, with new sound installed. Louis Ruhlander is manager.”
