Located in the centre of Havana, the Cine City Hall was opened in 1954. The exterior in a Streamline Moderne style has a centrally placed vertical fin feature which contains the theatre name. Inside the auditorium, seating is provided in orchestra and balcony levels. On the side-walls just beyond the balcony towards the proscenium, are two large Art Deco style relief sculpture panels depicting the exterior of the Cine City Hall, each with a different perspective. The panels are backlit.
In 2016 it is being renovated and is in use by a theatre group.
The Cine City Hall had gone from listings of Havana cinemas by 2009. It’s current use is unknown.

What a crying shame!
It’s undergoing reparations and is used by an acting group
