The West Drive-In was located in Torrington, Wyoming. It was opened in June 1950. It was owned by McDonald Circuit out of Torrington, Wyoming located in the Wyoming Theatre Building. W.H. McDonald was the owner. It parked 340 cars.

Thanks Bob. wish you had dug up more on this Drive-in.I have serched and found nothing.Makes me wonder if the name was changed.
May also have been called Hilltop Karvu Drive-in?

Grand opening note from the July 8, 1950 issue of BoxOffice: “The new West Drive-In erected near (Torrington) by Harry McDonald recently was opened. With a capacity of 300 cars, it has a new type of curved screen. Archie Speak is manager of the theatre.”
Boxoffice, December 1982: “Bob Heyl, who has operated the Wyoming and the West Drive In theatres in Torrington, Wyoming, has sold out to Jya Schwartz and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Schwartz, who will continue to operate the Lusk Drive-In Theatre, in Lusk, Wyoming, along with the new theatres. Heyl had operated the theatres for the past 25 years.”
Boxoffice, Aug. 28, 1961: “Bob Heyl reported considerable damage was done to his Wyoming Theatre and drive-in at Torrington by a severe rain and hailstorm”
Boxoffice, May 21, 1962: “Paul Cory has opened a new drive-in restaurant, "The Dash Inn,” on the grounds of his new West Drive-In Theatre at Torrington, Wyo."
