Located In Metter, Georgia, the Green-Point Drive-In served this south Georgia town with 240 parking spots and was owned by Dixie Amusement Co., same as the Candler Drive-In in Metter. The Green-Point Drive-In was opened in May 1953.

Hi all here are three photos of Green Point Drive-In and one is a new article on the opening I was not living in Metter Ga when it closed
Easy find! It was located on 820 S E Broad St, Metter, GA 30439, where both 1969 and 1981 aerial views show the drive-in with its screen and glory, but there’s some very small buildings in the 1981 aerial view located right next to the screen. I cannot confirm that it was still operating at the time. It was already demolished by the early-1990s and a street dedicating to the Green-Point Drive-In was made.
I kept getting Application Errors every single time I tried to add more information…
Although intact, the 1981 aerial shows considerable clutter around the screen which indicates the drive-in was most likely closed by that time.
