The M and T Drive-In in Hawkinsville, Georgia, was owned by Martin & Thompson Theatres who were based in Hawkinsville. Open prior to 1955, the M and T Drive-In parked 280 cars, just like the M and T Drive-In in Canton, Georgia. It was closed in the 1970’s.

Open 1955-1975?
Open for sure in 1967.
Also owned by just Martin.

Looks like it was just north of Georgia 257 on US 129 northeast of town. There doesn’t appear to be anything left of the theater.
Approx. location for this drive-in was U.S. 129 Alt & Walnut Rd. The outline is still there.
My first job was there, 1970-71 I WAS 11!
It’s now a cemetery, that is rather creepy…
I bet people are dying to be there?
