An item in the January 17, 1942 issue of Boxoffice magazine stated:

Parker into Chepachet, RI.
BOSTON – Fred Parker, operator of the Apollo in Boston, and owner of the Bellingham Auto Theatre in that town, has taken over the Chepachet in Chepachet, Rhode Island. Parker, who has acquired the former Grange Hall, has extensively renovated the house.

Sir, I could use those too! All I have are oblique references to this place in Boxoffice magazine!
I know the address of the current Chepachet Grange, but I don’t know if it was this building in 1942 or another.

The current Grange has been around for over 100 years, so it is the same building. The address is 28 Chopmist Hill Road.

You can see photos of it to conirm its the same building:

The Chepachet Theatre opened on March 14, 1942. There is an opening day ad in the photo section. There aren’t too many ads for this place, suggesting it didn’t survive as a theatre for too long, but that is not certain.
