Bayshore Theatre

The Bayshore opened in 1926 and closed in October 1957. For thirty years, it served Visitacion Valley filmgoers with a steady stream of frequently changed, low cost film programs, but, like so many of its brethren, fell victim to television.

Afterwards, it served for some years as Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church, but has since been torn down and forgotten.

This actually burned down sometime in the 90s I believe when it was a church. One person died in it. I lived two houses over and my apartment door can be seen on the far left.
