Reo Theater

Initially opened in 1910 as an Opera House. It underwent numerous changes in names and configurations from 1915 until 1947. It finally closed in 1958 as the Reo Theatre. In addition to the main floor seating, a small balcony contained a "crying room" with 9 seats. The last film shown was "Jailhouse Rock" with Elvis Presley.

It became the Old Theatre Tavern, a small-town bar and grill, and has now been re-named the Old Theatre Restaurant & Bar, which occupies the former lobby area. The auditorium is used for storage. There are pictures on the walls of how the building looked over the years when it was a movie theatre and the bartender will let you read a written history of the place if you ask.
