Here are some history tide bits on the Gaiety Theater:
The Gaiety Theater was located in the old now defunct Norombega Hall was but was sadly destroyed in the Great of Fire of 1911 in Bangor. According to the newspaper it was Bangor’s "fifth full-time theater. It featured Broadway and Vaudeville acts. It was located between what is now Franklin Street and Central Street. The front of the theater on Central Street had a house sign that consisted of 750 bulbs and was turned on for the first time to advertise upcoming vaudeville acts on "Saturday evening, January 16, 1909, with the theater opening on January 18, 1909.

The address does not work very well. The way I understand it, the theater faced Central Street and it’s back was to Franklin Street. Because the two streets are closest at Hamond Street, I would guess it was fairly close to that street?
