The Milo Drive-In opened on June 10, 1950 with the films “Albuquerque” and “Adventure Island”. I just added the grand opening ad

A closer address is 286 Elm St, Milo, ME.

This address is right next to the entrance road. You can still make out the outline, a few ramps, and what’s left of the concession stand/projection booth.

The Milo opened in 1950 and operated until sometime in the 1980s. It was still in operation as late as 1975.

Anyone know a more exact address?

It was open from ABOUT 1955-1980. I know it was open in 1967.

In 1955 it was owned by Affliated Theaters Corporation (Lockwood and Gordon) of Boston.

In 1961 it was owned by Daytz Enterprises Corporation (of Boston?)

Well,Kirk, In 1956 it was a new thing for the town of Milo. It parked 450 cars making not the largest Drive-in in Maine, but in the top ten. It was owned still by Mrs.E. Mills.
