Royal Cinema

Located in the east London district of Walthamstow. The Royal Cinema was located on High Road, opposite Colebrook Road. It was opened on 26th December 1911 as a conversion of a shop. It closed in March 1912. The building was empty for a while, and was converted into a shop in 1915.

Later used for light industrial purposes, it was demolished in the late-1990’s. In 2010, the site is part of a large empty plot of land which was previously the site of Wathamstow shopping centre.
