The Apollo Cinemas opened on 30th April 2010. It is the first ‘all digital’ purpose built cinema, to be built and opened in Wales. All six screens are equipped with Sony 4K Digital projectors and can also screen 3D films. Seating capacities in the six screens are: 334, 208, 104, 104, 95 and 67. There is a fully licenced bar for customers over 18 years old.
It was taken over by Vue Cinemas in January 2013.

I’ve uploaded a photo I took in 2010.
This cinema is now operated by VUE Cinemas, who purchased the Apollo chain at the start of the year.
Thanks for that info, I’m losing touch since retiring, I had no idea that VUE had taken over Apollo.
