The Kentucky Theatre was opened on August 25, 1936 with Fred Astaire in “Follow the Fleet”. It was operating until at least the late-1970’s.

There is another theater in Hartford called the Star Theatre, which operated as both a silent and sound theater.

Opened on August 25, 1936 with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in “Follow The Fleet” (unknown if extras added), and was first managed by Cecil P. Taylor, who also operated the Majestic Theatre in Beaver Dam.
