Not a bad place for 2.00. Me and my friends call this place the hispanic theatre due to the fiesta that happens in this mall. You know what i mean by fiesta if you’ve been here. This place has a unique layout. Like the fiesta, its kinda hard to explain unless you’re there.
Built in the mid-1990s for original operator O'Neil Theatres of Slidell, Louisiana, the Venture Cinemas 12 was designed by the Atlanta architectural firm Richard Rauh & Associates. It was featured in an article in the January, 1995, issue of Architectural Record.
It was built in the mid 90’s and the grand opening was for Jurassic Park. I don’t know if it is still there but for many many years the lobby and the hallway exit into the mall had Dino’s painted on the walls. The theater was Jurassic themed an remained however it has been well over a decade since I have been to this place.

I saw Godzilla: King of the Monsters here on June 30. Regular admission is now $3.50 and 3D pictures are now $5. One new picture coming soon.
I think they might be closed again, they haven’t shown a movie in months… http://www.venturecinema.net/showtimes/
