Built in 1880 as a roller skating rink to satisfy the then craze for roller skating, by around 1890 this venue had been converted to use as a theatre and used for amateur and professional ensembles. It was here in 1899 that Fred E. Young, later Solomon Andrews entertainments manager, staged an ‘exhibition’ of "Edison’s latest and most perfect machine", which included a short of Gladstone’s funeral procession. The venue was unsuccessful for theatrics however and closed circa 1908.
It was re-opened by a local man, Mr.C. Fear in 1913 but closed again at the outbreak of World War I. At the end of the war, a Mr E.J. Evans of Llanelli re-opened the venue as a cinema seating 600 patrons but once again it was closed in 1921 when he transferred his interest to the Imperial Cinema. For years afterwards Evans was known locally as ‘Evans y rink’. The venue was later demolished.

Known as the Bijou Theatre, it was later called the Pareezer Hall. The Rink name was retained when converted into a pub, it’s final use before demolition.
