The Georgia Twin was opened in 1974. operated by Mann Theatres. Later five more auditoriums were added, the theatre then became the Georgia 7 Theatre. Carmike took over operations of this theatre in 1990.

The Georgia 7 Theatres closed in 2000 and has since been demolished and a Walgreens drug store is located on the site of the former theatre.

Now Showing at the Georgia Twin. “ALICE DOESN’T LIVE HERE ANYMORE” and “RANCHO DELUX” on May 3 1975.

Jan 2 1977 at these hits are playing. “KING KONG” and “GOD TOLD ME TO”.

Feb.18 1980 and “JAWS 2” is playing. Also “AMERICAN GIGOLO”,“10” and “PROMISES IN THE DARK”.

This started life as the Georgia Twin in 1974, I cannot find its opening date though.
