The 650 car Terrace Drive-In opened July 13, 1949 with Edmund Gwenn in “Hill of Home” & Kristine Miller in “Jungle Patrol”. It was closed in 1988. Has since been used as a tow yard with office space in the concession building. One of the projectors from the drive-in is displayed in the lobby of the towing service.

The Terrace Drive-In definitely opened before 1950. I started compiling information on all local engagements starting with January 1, 1950 and on that date they were showing the double feature of Beyond the Forest and Chicago Deadline.
A correction above: The Terrace Drive-In opened July 13, 1949. Opening features were “The Hills of Home” and Jungle Patrol."
Opened with “Hills of Home” and “Jungle Patrol”. The tow yard is called Jims Towing.
Now Roadliner Trucking company. The snack bar is used as the office.
