The Dixie Theatre opened in 1929 with seating listed at 470. This was a neighborhood theatre located on Saginaw Street between Knickerbocker Avenue and Tremont Avenue. It was owned by Clark Theatres.
The Dixie Theatre closed in 1954 and has since been demolished.

Dixie Theater was located near the corner of Saginaw St. and Knickerbocker Ave.
Pulaski Ave. was further down toward downtown Flint.
My siblings and I went to the Dixie Theater often since we lived in the area for years!
