Opened as the Point Theatre in 1963 with seating listed at 520. In October 1974 it was renamed the Point Triplex Theatre. Renamed Loomis Theatres in December 1983 and closed in 1998. The theatre was located in the Point Lions Shopping Center.

The building was re-purposed for retail.

It was renamed Loomis in December 1983 and added an fourth screen.
In 1996 it was sold to Cinescape Theatres, which became Spector Theatres in 1997. It closed in 1998 when there was no listings for it in January 1999.

I remember going there on Sundays in the 60’s and watching Jerry Lewis movies.
