Jalex is correct the lee theater was at 4366 Lee avenue between Clarence and Newstead. we lived behind the theater 4323 Kossuth. the theater was operated by the Hugh’s family Terry Hugh’s had the confectionary Next to it and Howard ran the theater, Pop Hugh,s was my uncle. we played in the lot behind it there was a loose board in the fence where the kids could move it and play in the lot and dug a big hole and covered with boards to make a fort. my older brothers and neighborhood kids hid there and smoked cigs. The build is still there.

Theatre opened in 1915 as the NEWSTEAD Theatre; was renamed the LEE in 1930. Theatre, at 4366 Lee, closed in May 1949.
