Located in the southeast London district of West Norwood. The West Norwood Picture Palace was opened prior to 1929. In 1933, it was re-named Cosy Cinema, and was finally re-named Royal Cinema in 1937.
The Royal Cinema was closed in 1955, and the front section was demolished, being replaced by a garage forecourt (now closed). Since around 2000, Rosebery’s Auction Rooms operate from the former auditorium.
