Paramount Cinema at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia has been a landmark for people who live in that area. It was originally opened in the early 70s and closed down in 1985 due to poor attendance. In 1987, the Paramount was restored and reopened by another chain. Finally, in 1997, Paramount lost its battle to the Golden Village Multiplex in the nearby area and it was closed down and was left abandoned for 2 years as seen in this picture. The building is now a supermarket.
