This 12-screen theater opened on May 19, 2005 in downtown Massillon, Ohio. As of this writing (November 2009), the theater has a free summer movie film festival, which runs approximately ten weeks. Plenty of free parking and easy highway access makes this a great theater to visit. Originally operated by Great Escape Theatres, it has now been taken over by Regal.

This has been renamed Massillon Stadium 12 in 2012 when Regal Cinemas took it over.
Now has reclining seats in all theaters, 3D on screens 1 2 3 and 11. Christie CP2220 projectors throughout except for no 10 which has a NEC. Has a enhanced foods menu and serves alcohol.
This opened on May 19th, 2005. Grand opening ad posted.
A 27-year-old Canton man was shot and killed by a 20-year-old Jackson Township man inside the Stadium 12 last night. The 20-year-old is in custody as of this afternoon.
The shooting was part of an ongoing disagreement that started at the Rec Center and was between the people. It had nothing to do with the cinema.
