The Hong Kong Central Library is situated in Causeway Bay on the Hong Kong Island, and opened to the public in May 2001. The Central Library is a eleven-storey building with the 290-seat Lecture Theatre on the ground floor. Besides lectures, the theatre is also a venue for showing selected films.
